Welcome!

Welcome to our new Chemistry blog! We hope that this blog will help improve communication between staff and students, and enable us to support you in developing your understanding of the concepts that are covered in lessons - and, in the longer-term, ensure that you achieve your target grade!

Your (constructive!) comments about this blog and any suggestions about what you would like to be included on it, would be welcomed. We look forward to hearing from you!

hi miss i believe this is really going too help with our development and understanding in lessons or is this just a secret scheme to make us do all the homework. only kidding

Well Sean, in this particular case it is pretty clear who has done their homework and who hasn't!! In the longer-term, I hope that you'll find it useful to help each other, for example by suggesting ideas about what you've found helpful yourself or by sharing revision tips. What else do you think would be good to include on our blog?

Thanks for your contribution!

There's an error in the link to Doc Browns AS page, it should end in .htm but the link leads to an error page instead because it ends .htmhttp://

I think this will be helpful as we can access it anywhere at any time :)

I think Evie's study group thing is a nice idea. Working with someone who understands or did it before always helps if you get stuck.

Thanks for your comments, Tom and Lucinda.

I will sort out some whole past papers for you to have a go at, but also if you go to the 'Revision Reources' on the righthand side of the blog (in the green box) you will find some practice exam Qs on particular areas of the modules, which would also be helpful.

Thanks for pointing out the error in the link to Doc Brown's AS website, Lucinda - I have now corrected it so you should be able to access it!

I agree, a study group is a fantastic idea and even if you don't have someone who you feel 'knows it all' you can still help each other with bits you don't understand, test each other, swap revision tips, etc.

I'm hoping that if we get this blog up and running, with everyone contributing regularly, it could become our own 'virtual study group'!!
